When did you get involved with fitness?

I always was a fit and active girl, but I got involved into fitness 6 years ago, when I started to take aerobic group classes and I fell in love with this lifestyle…I think forever

What does your training routine look like?

I am a full time personal trainer, so for me there is no day without the gym. I also do aerobic group classes on a daily basis. On my aerobic classes I do my cardio (I teach also circuit training and HIIT classes) and in the gym I train with my clients. Every day I train different body parts, like Monday legs and calves, Tuesday Biceps, back and shoulders, Wednesday chest and triceps and so on.

How do you stay motivated?

In the gym I always change up my workout routines, so it’s a challenge every two week. I like to be satisfied with myself when I look in the mirror, so this also keeps me going. Listening to your favorite music also helps a lot when you are doing cardio. I am a very positive person; always put the good in front. Positive reinforcement is a powerful technique of self-motivation.

Do you have any tips for those new to fitness?

Yes, here they are:

1. Have a workout plan written down preferably made by a personal trainer

2. An outfit in which you feel comfortable, not too lose not to tight

3. Headphones and maybe some cool hat, and like this you can focus on what you are doing and nobody will bother you.

4. Have your favorite music with you. A good playlist or use spotify

5. Always check your form, you should feel the body part you are working, if you are doing biceps you should feel your biceps and not your shoulder or other body part.

What does your diet look like?

I don’t really have a strict diet, what I follow. What I do is eating clean, fresh food, avoiding refined sugars and processed foods. I eat 5 small meals a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and 2 snacks in between.

What is your favorite recipe?

I have a lot of favorite recipes, because I like to eat… a lot…

The Italian cuisine is my favorite and I am not talking about pasta now! I love their veggie dishes like the stuffer eggplants with all kind of veggies and cheese baked in the oven, I love the caprese salad with mozzarella and tomatoes, I could eat it every day. I also love the healthy variation of the morning pancake, which I make from 2 ingredients: eggs and a banana.

What is your approach to cardio?

I think cardio should be part of everyone’s workout routine, even if you do not need to lose weight.

As I said before I do High Intensity Interval training classes too, so this is usually my cardio, but sometimes I like to run also.

What is your next goal? Where do you see yourself this time next year?

Maybe a bikini competition…who knows

What is your favorite exercise and why?

I love to train legs, it’s my favorite body part to train. So squats, deadlifts, lunges are my favorite exercises.

Who inspires you?

There are a lot of very beautiful girl who I follow and inspire me a lot, one of them is Jamie Eason. She is gorgeous, talented and has a beautiful body…but I really like a lot of other girls.

What is your ultimate goal in fitness?

As I mentioned before, maybe I will do a bikini competition, but I also would like to run a half marathon too.
